Haider Ahmed Portfolio

Hi, this is where you will find information about my skills, past experience and some projects that I've worked on.

About me

I am a web application developer from Toronto, who is also knowledgeable about the finance industry. I’ve done 1 co-op placement at Eli Lilly in the Digital/Analytics unit and I’ve done 2 co-op placements at IBM, where I worked on the WA/CA platform (Hybrid Cloud unit – Watson Analytics and Cognos Analytics). I am a full-time student enrolled in the Business Technology Management co-op program at Ryerson University (currently looking for my 4th co-op placement). My program covers business topics such as Accounting and Finance, Law, Economics and Marketing and it also cover IT topics such as Systems Analysis and Design, Business Process Design, Data and Information Management, IT and Enterprise architecture.
I worked with a team of developers at the IBM Toronto Lab on the development of Dashboards, App tool-kits and the web interface for Watson Analytics. I learned new web technologies such as React and Webpack. I also solidified my JS and Node.js skills.
During my time at Eli Lilly, I used my analytical skills to help the team come up with SEM and SEO strategies. I was also responsible for finding design flaws of lillypro platform and create a more streamlined User Experience for the users.
I am very interested in user experience and design and love implementing compelling and dynamic web experiences using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

Currently looking for Winter 2018 (4 Months) and Spring/Summer 2018 (4 Months) co-op placements.
